3. Anuradhapura and The Cultural Triangle
Break up the journey from Wilpattu to Sigiriya with a stop for fresh coconut juice and to explore the ancient capital Anuradhapura.
4. Pidurangala Rock Temple
Climb picturesque Pidurangala Rock Temple for an incredible, alternative view of the famous Sigiriya, before visiting a working farm in the nearby area. Truly off the beaten trail and guided by a local farmer, your family will really step away from the everyday.
5. Train to Kandy

A surprisingly scenic morning drive to the airport for the 2pm hop across the ocean to The Maldives. You'll be kicking off your shoes and wriggling your toes in the improbably white sand before you know it.

The Maldives has superb accommodation and activities for every kind of family, with many resorts surrounded by house reefs for safe snorkelling in out-of-this-world lagoons. Why not try catamaran sailing, windsurfing or waterskiing? Or just relax....

We had the most amazing two weeks in Sri Lanka - thanks to ETG it was perfect and just what we wanted. So many wonderful experiences and we stayed in amazing boutique style hotels. Food was outstanding! Both my daughter and husband had birthdays while out there and were given birthday cakes and even a birthday banner! Throughout our trip we had the most amazing driver, Kapi, who really did make our holiday. He became part of our family for that time and we felt so safe with him.
